How do I add someone?
Tap + ADD CONTACT. Show your QR code, or send the invite link. The other person scans it or opens
the link, and you both appear in each other's contacts. There is no search and no directory — that is
deliberate.
What is "knocking"?
Since there is no inbox, you ask the other person to come to the conversation. They see a banner and accept
it; only then does the channel open on both sides. If they are not in the app, they get a notification that
says only "someone is knocking".
Why do my messages disappear?
Every message has a timer (10 seconds to 5 minutes, set in the conversation settings). When it runs out,
the message is gone on both devices. Nothing is stored on a server, so there is no history to scroll.
I lost my phone / reinstalled the app. Can I get my contacts back?
No. The identity key lives only on the device and is never backed up. This is the trade-off for having no
account: nobody — including us — can restore or impersonate you. You add your contacts again.
How do I block someone?
Press and hold their name in the contact list and choose BLOCK. They can no longer see that you
are in the app, cannot knock and cannot reach your notifications. Blocked people are listed in Settings,
where you can unblock them.
How do I delete my account?
Settings (the gear icon) → scroll to the bottom → delete account. It wipes the device key, all
contacts and the notification token on our server.
Notifications don't arrive.
Check Settings inside the app (NOTIFICATIONS should say ON) and then iOS Settings → Moment →
Notifications. Notifications only announce a knock; they never carry message text.
Is it really end-to-end encrypted?
Yes — X25519 key agreement, HKDF-SHA256, AES-GCM, keys generated per session and kept in memory. Open the
conversation settings and compare the safety code with the other person out loud; if the codes match,
nobody is in between.

Як додати людину?
Натисніть + ДОДАТИ КОНТАКТ. Покажіть свій QR-код або надішліть посилання-запрошення. Друг сканує
або відкриває його — і ви одразу з'являєтесь одне в одного в контактах. Пошуку людей і каталогу немає, і це
свідомо.
Що таке «постукати»?
Скриньки вхідних тут немає, тож ви кличете людину в розмову. Вона бачить банер і приймає запит — аж тоді
канал відкривається з обох боків. Якщо її немає в додатку, прилетить сповіщення, у якому сказано лише
«хтось стукає».
Чому повідомлення зникають?
У кожного є таймер (від 10 секунд до 5 хвилин, у налаштуваннях розмови). Коли він спливає, повідомлення
зникає на обох пристроях. На сервері не зберігається нічого, тож історії для прокручування просто немає.
Загубив телефон / перевстановив додаток. Чи можна повернути контакти?
Ні. Ключ особистості живе лише на пристрої й не потрапляє в бекап. Це плата за відсутність акаунта: ніхто,
включно з нами, не може ні відновити вас, ні видати себе за вас. Контакти додаєте наново.
Як заблокувати людину?
Затисніть її ім'я у списку контактів і оберіть ЗАБЛОКУВАТИ. Вона більше не бачить, що ви в
додатку, не може достукатись і не дотягнеться до ваших сповіщень. Заблоковані зібрані в налаштуваннях —
там же їх можна розблокувати.
Як видалити акаунт?
Налаштування (шестерня) → вниз сторінки → видалити акаунт. Стирає ключ пристрою, всі контакти і
токен сповіщень на нашому сервері.
Не приходять сповіщення.
Перевірте налаштування в додатку (СПОВІЩЕННЯ мають бути УВІМКНЕНО), а тоді Налаштування iOS → Moment →
Сповіщення. Сповіщення повідомляють лише про стук і ніколи не містять тексту повідомлень.
Це справді наскрізне шифрування?
Так — X25519, HKDF-SHA256, AES-GCM, ключі створюються на кожну сесію і живуть у пам'яті. Відкрийте
налаштування розмови й звірте код безпеки голосом: збіглися — між вами нікого немає.
